Ground Penetrating Radar is a tool that Phase One uses in both concrete scanning and utility locating. It allows us to identify things such as post-tension in concrete, conduit, rebar, also to locate utility lines, underground storage tanks, subsurface voids, sewer pipes, telecom, fiber optic cables and more. GPR operates by sending radar signals into a surface such as concrete and soil then captures the signal as it returns to the machine to provide data that Phase One interprets to determine a multitude of detail about the subsurface feature. 

If a project contains conduits, post-tension, rebar, there is a chance you could incur costly damages if you core through the post-tension cables, or cut through conduit. Phase One provides concrete scanning services to accurately locate each hazard, mark it out in detail, and minimize the risk and  job site downtime due to damages and error. Upon completion you'll have a clear understanding of thickness of slab, depths of conduits, post tension cables, and rebar location.

Phase One utilizes a multitude of tools from Ground Penetrating Radar,  Electromagnetic locators, CCTV Video Cameras, and other equipment to identify all subsurface utilities. Upon completion you're provided with depths, locations, and GPS mapping of all infrastructure identified.
